I'm excited to finally post another session! It seems like forever since I've shared one. I've been busy shooting sessions and working with Style My Ride. (I can't wait to share those pictures!) Kristen and Willy and are friends from my former barn. (Fresno moved to his retirement home, a.k.a. my best friend's farm, last weekend.) Willy is a spoiled OTTB - notice his OTTB halter - who truly has the life! Kristen will spend hours each week grooming Willy, and her hard work pays off. His coat is beautiful! See for yourself!
With everything that's been going on as of late, I thought it would be good to have a post to make you smile! While I love getting the perfect shot to make you and your horse look amazing and beautiful, I also have to take advantage of the times when they're being silly. Here's a collection of images where the horses are showing their...humorous side. Tell me which is your favorite in the comments at the end, and feel free to share to spread the smiles! :) Eli had an itch.
Someone doesn't want to jump the ditch.
Wilco took forever to warm up to the camera. Here's one of the first shots. He thought the camera was going to eat him.
Fresno just wanted his big head on the blog. :)
Rustic just wants some laughs.
Linus being a baby dinosaur.
This was just too cute not to add.
Secret salutes you!
Another sweet one. George loves his mom!
And the best for last...Sunny's war cry.
As I promised, here is part 2 of ball gowns and horses (see part 1 here)! This half of the session was with my friend Kelley and her ginormous horse Linus. You may notice he has mouth full of grass in every picture. It was the only way we could keep him occupied. :) Kelley is wearing a gown that was made for her to do Civil War reenactments in and was designed true to the time period! Update on Fresno: His tumor was removed and he is healing quickly! Couldn't ask for anything better! Thank you so much to Dr. Bob Grisel!!
